Transfer credits

I’m transferring from MDC to UM and am wondering if a D I got several years ago will be counted towards my UM GPA. On the UM website they say that nothing below a C gets transferred. But when I look at my portal it’s there!! I start this fall so I’m not sure what my actual GPA will be once it’s posted. Has anyone had a similar experience?
