I love kids see ghosts but am I the only one who Lowkey thinks it’s a tad overrated? Like just a tad, I wouldn’t give it a 10 it’s like an 8 to me but people really view it as flawless.

Graduation is 10/10 I know we all have opinions but it’s such a cohesive and beautiful album even with Drunk and Hot Girls lol. Every song is well produced and just so enjoyable to listen to

That last sentence is also kind of why I disagree that Graduation should be considered a 10/10. It's well produced and enjoyable, sure. Does it experiment in any way or take Kanye's formula further then Late Registration? No. Does it have the depth of almost all other Kanye albums, conceptually or lyrically? Also no. I think Graduation is a good album but to me it's just kind of a victory lap after Kanye had made the imo superior albums of College Dropout and Late Registration. It's Kanye basking in his success and looking back at the journey he's had and I still respect it but it's just shallow in comparison to his other efforts. Enjoyability is a factor but it does not directly correlate to the rating an album deserves in my opinion, there are other things to consider.

My personal ranking, mostly my opinion but also trying to be a bit objective:

Graduation (A+) - every song is at least a B+. If Barry Bonds and D&HG were replaced with Bittersweet Poetry and Good Night, more people would have this as Kanye's best IMO

MBDTF (A+) - Kanye's magnum opus

Life of Pablo (A+) - similar to Graduation, almost every song is at least B+ and the album has such a unique vibe

College Dropout (A+) - so many classics

Yeezus (A) - if you're in the mood, this is a top 3 Kanye album

Donda (A) - Kanye's best (individual) album since Pablo, some serious bangers on this

808's and Heartbreak (A-) - no song stands out, but a very good consistent album to listen to

Late Registration (A-) - personally feel there's a lot of filler here, but might have the most top 20 Kanye songs of any album

Ye (B+) - short but super underrated. If you combine Ye and KSG, that's contending for his best album

Jesus is King (B-) - has an unfinished sound overall, but there are a few songs that have replay value

- tcd 10/10 beat debut album of all time in my opinion
- tlop 10/10 last 10 on my list
- grad 9/10 used to be my favorite album ever
- late registration: 9/10 i used to hate this album for some reason but its his best lyrical work
- ksg 8.5/10
- ye 8/10
- donda 7/10
- 808s 7/10 most influential album of all time
- yeezus 7/10 used to love this album kinda grew off me
- wtt 6/10 kinda underwhelming for the amount of skill combined between hov and ye
- jik 5/10 not had not really good either
i know ppl are probably gonna strongly disagree with this, but its so hard to rank kanyes discography. his bottom 6 is better than alot of artists top 6

i fail to see your point. influential doesnt mean its the best. it completely divided the generations of rap and thats what made it influential. not how good it was. dr dre is regarded as one of the most influential producers of all time and yet you rarely see people having dr dre in their top 5 producers.

yea, i'm not surprised my list was unpopular bc it had donda and pablo over mbdtf and the trilogy are pretty low, but i am surprised about yeezus. people don't realize how fucking crazy it was when it came out, and it still hits hard

As Kid Cudi’s fan of course Kids See Ghosts is the first one, the second I love is The Life of The Pablo, cause Real Friends is fire!!! One of my fav tracks for 7 years tbh
