/r/Hockey mock draft
So theyre doing a mock draft on the main hockey page for anybody following. Who are we taking? Since we're pretty stacked with D prospects maybe a winger?

Forsberg and Gally will be long gone.
I say Teravainen. I like Faksa, but Teravainen is the more skilled, top end-player with 1st line potential. Faksa is the safer pick, with a lower ceiling, but we need 1st line potential with Boychuk and Dalpe busting out as we speak.

Teravainen. He's gone from top 50 to top 10 in the last six months or so. Late rising guys like that seem to do well in the NHL. Faksa is a safe pick too though.

Ok so heres what were looking at and not necessarily in this order.
- Forsberg
- Teravainen
- Faksa
Going by draft projections and assuming that the Ducks and Wild both go defensman chances are Teravainen or Faska are going to be who we're looking at. I like that Faksa is a Kitchner guy so he's played with Ryan Murphy and he is the biggest one of the bunch. You figure you give him one more year in Kitchner and a half of a season on Charlotte to see how he progresses. If the kid can play on the level... Sutter Welsh Faska sounds like 3rd line that can score goals and throw the body.

Jussi and Dalpe?
I'm sure not many agree, but I'd be fine seeing both of them go.

I definitely think the ship has come and gone on Dalpe and Boychuck. Both are still outstanding players but just not where we needed them to be. Maybe a combo of Joni and either Dalpe, Boyhchuck or a 2nd rounder

Ok, so mock draft is tonight. No trades are allowed. What we're looking at is either Forsberg, Teravainen or Faksa. I doubt Forsberg will be left over and personally I like Faska a little more than Teravainen because he's a Kitchner product so he'll have experience playing with Ryan Murphy and he's got the size which is definitely something we could use up front. I'll go with the general consensus on this.

I'd love to see Faksa, Forsberg, or Galchenyuk.
I think Forsberg would be the best move for us but definitely somebody we would have to trade up for.
