• Niantic has drop support for Android OS 6 Marshmallow. They are telling you to update to Android 7 Nougat or buy a newer device.

> Topic #2: VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

[1] This no root method is not safe and not ban proof.

All spoofing and bot methods in my subreddit are not safe and not ban proof because everything is detectable, but it all depends on if Niantic wants to detect the cheat. Spoofing is cheating because they wrote it in Pokemon Go's Terms of Service. If you want to cheat/spoof/bot, you must accept the risks of getting punished by their strike system. It is an unfair advantage to play the game with a joystick without having to walk around outside.

• 1st strike: 7-day soft ban with limited Pokemon spawns with zero access to raids and Go Battle League.
• 2nd strike: 30-day temporary ban. You cannot play on your account for 30 days.
• 3rd strike: Account termination also known as a permanent ban.

Once your account has gotten the 1st strike, this means you cannot cheat/spoof/bot on the account anymore because you can trigger the next strike (This has already been proven). Strikes may reset over time if certain conditions are met. [2] PGSharp will start supporting Android 13 in their beta releases and maybe in their final version (obtained from their Telegram channel). Should you update to Android 13? My answer is NO because it could have problems then you will not be able to play the game and do events. To go back to Android 12 from 13, you need to own a computer with Windows OS and a device that allows you to downgrade your Android OS like Google Pixel. For other brands like Samsung and others, they do not allow you to do an Android OS downgrade. This means you would be stuck on Android 13.

[3] I do not paid partnership or sponsorship with PGSharp because it allows me to freely discuss about the good and bad things about them without any repercussions like in Topic #4.

• With the release of iPogo's No Root Android app, PGSharp is still the best because it has all the spoofing features you want in a modified app.
• iPogo's app is currently in beta for testing. All of its features are free to use right now including Virtual Go Plus. This app does not have all the features that PGSharp has. It does not have GPX Routes, feed customization, gift assistant, raid assistant, map filters, cooldown timer, PvP Ranking, Pokemon name generator, and app language changer.

> Topic #3: Do not use Pgsharp in an emulator: VMOS, Bluestacks, NOX, MuMu, or LD Player

Pgsharp will work inside an emulator, but I do not allow emulator help because emulators have frequent strike/ban waves. Since you are playing on a computer, it means you have a tool that can easily watch and follow YouTube guides. All 5 of the emulators are already detected and have been through many strike/ban waves. If you break rule #5 to ask for help with an emulator, I will remove your post/comment.

> Topic #4: Things you must know before using Pgsharp!

I will also include iPogo in this because some bad things about Pgsharp also apply to iPogo's Android app too. They are both 3rd party modified apps of the official Pokemon Go from the Play Store.

Good things:

• It has a "free" and "paid" option.
• You do not need a computer to set up PGSharp on your smartphone or tablet.
• Works on smartphones and tablets with 4GB RAM (or more) running Android 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. *Android 13 is only supported in beta releases.
• Works with Facebook, Google, and Pokemon Trainer Club accounts.

Bad things for Pgsharp and iPogo:

• You cannot buy Poke Coins directly inside PGSharp because it is not an official Pokemon Go app. PGSharp and iPogo are 3rd party modified apps. They does not have access to Google Pay services. If you want to buy coins, you must uninstall Pgsharp/iPogo, install the official app to buy coins, uninstall the official app, and then reinstall Pgsharp or iPogo. You can also use a second device to have the official app on it then you do not have to uninstall and install apps.
• Adventure Sync cannot be turned on in Pgsharp and iPogo because it is not an official Pokemon Go app. They does not have access to Google Fit services. Lucky for you, you can still use Adventure Sync through Samsung Galaxy Store's Pokemon Go app. The instructions will be in Topic #8.
• No guarantee to pairing your physical Go Plus/Pokeball Plus/Gotcha or similar device. The developers want you to buy a paid key to use their virtual go plus. Some people say they can pair their own device as a free user, I cannot promise this will work for everyone.

Bad things about Pgsharp only:

• When the Pgsharp server(s) are full or experiencing high traffic, you have to wait in a line queue system to connect to Pgsharp before you can play. Free users have to wait anywhere from 15 seconds to a several hours depending on the game event. Paid key users can skip the line queue and can load into the game without waiting.
• If the Pgsharp's server crash, no one can play the game until the servers are brought back online!
  • Pgsharp's Telegram does not communicate when this happens or how long it will take to fix the problem. This will cause you to miss out on your events or whenever you decide to play the game.
  • Pgsharp is also partner with a Discord group, but the Discord group is more of a hang out place to chat and trade. The Discord group is pretty much useless.
  • Since there is now a second No Root option, if Pgsharp servers are down, you can use iPogo's Android app until Pgsharp fixes their problems.
  • What people do not understand is that when Pgsharp servers are down, it is only down for Pgsharp users. If you use a rooted method with an official Pokemon Go app, there is no down time. Niantic servers are rarely down. The last time when something like this happened was more than 3 years ago. To be fair, the same thing can happen to iPogo, but iPogo is better managed than Pgsharp because iPogo still has a Discord group while Pgsharp had their Discord group deleted two times for a violation.
• They still have bad communication even though they made some changes to their website. I still think a lot of information should be provided on their website. They recently took my table of features and added it to their website. Now, I do not have to recreate the table (this is not copy and paste friendly) anymore and link their features page. I expect Pgsharp to have a complete website similar to iPogo because they make money from selling game cheats. Pgsharp should be able to afford a service that builds their website for them.

> Topic #5: Android Device Requirements

• Android OS: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13* ; all must have Google Play Store support. *Android 13 is only supported in their Beta Releases.
• Must use an Android smartphone or Android tablet (Chromebook, laptops, desktop computers, and Android TV are not supported because no one walks around a park with these kinds of devices to play Pokemon Go. Pgsharp will not fix your problems if you attempt to use Pgsharp on them.)
• Android brand examples: Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, Sony, Asus, Motorola, Blue, LG, One Plus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Realme, Nubia, Lecica, and etc.
• RAM: 4 GB or more is recommended.
• This is a No Root method that does not require rooting. A computer is not needed to setup this no root method.

If you want to learn more about what a feature does and how to use it, you can click/press -> Unofficial PGSharp Features Explained - March 21, 2022. You may need to install "Google Docs" from the Google Play Store to open this document. It is also best to read in landscape mode. You can also go on YouTube and watch other people's videos on how to use a certain feature too.

As a FREE User, you do get a good amount of features but Pokemon Feed, Raid Feed, and Nearby Radar have limited access. This means all three of these cannot be customized.

• With the Pokemon Feed and Nearby Radar, you can only see 100 iv and cannot change it to 90 to 100 iv or by stats 0/15/15.
• With the Raid Feed, you get full access to seeing 1-star, 3-star, 5-star, and mega raid Pokemon, but you cannot customize it like seeing 1-star only or 1-star and 3-star only.

> Topic #7: How do I buy a Standard / Paid Key?

Option #1 with their Patreon link: https://www.patreon.com/pgsofficial.

This is a $5 per month subscription service. If you buy at day 15th of the month, Patreon will start charging on the 1st of every month. If you want to use PayPal, you must use this link to do it. PayPal is a payment service where you can add your bank account, debit card, credit card, and/or PayPal labeled gift card. This is to help you pay for things securely. PayPal is optional. If you want to cancel subscription, you go to the Patreon website or use their app to do it with your Patreon account.

1. Create a Patreon account and do the email confirmation.
2. Sign up for the $5 per month subscription and pay with PayPal or with credit/debit card.
3. You will get an email titled "Your PGSharp Standard Patron is activated!" with your key right after you pay with a PayPal confirmed/verified account. If you used a debit/credit card, it may take a few days to process.
4. If you do not see email with your key, you must use their Feedback Message system https://www.pgsharp.com/feedback/. This is the safest way to contact PGSharp.

Option #2 with their main website link: www.pgsharp.com.

This is a non-recurring payment system. If you buy on the 15th, you must manually renew it on the 15th again. You can do it every month for $5 or three months at a time for $15. This is for people who do not use PayPal or do not have PayPal available in their country. You can also use other forms of payment through their website for other countries.

1. Go to the website and press buy now under Standard Edition.
2. Choose between $5 monthly or $15 quarterly
3. Press continue then checkout.
4. Create an account or log into your existing account then fill out your name and address.
5. If you pay with credit/debit card, the information must match what you have on record for the card. The bank or card company can put a hold on the transaction then you must call them to allow the authorize the transaction or do it by email.
6. If you pay with something else and have problems, you must use their Feedback Message system https://www.pgsharp.com/feedback/. This is the safest way to contact PGSharp.
7. They will either email you your key or you get it from logging into your account through www.pgsharp.com.

> Topic #8: How to Install or Update Pgsharp?

How to install Pgsharp for the first time

[1] Open the "Play Store" app and search for "Pokemon Go" then uninstall it because you cannot have both Pgsharp and the official app at the same time.

[2] Go to www.pgsharp.com and press on the "Download" button. You will also see "Download #2," which is an alternate download link if the first option downloads very slow. You can see a link for "previous version" in case if you have a problem with the current release and/or "beta release" to test new features or fixes.

[3] Open your "Files", "My Files", or whatever is your file manager app.

[4] Go to your "Internal Storage" then "Downloads" folder.

[5] Press on "pgs#.##.#.apk" then install. You must allow to install unknown apps from this source. Follow what it tells you because it may say something different on other devices. Then, press to turn on the toggle for your file manager app. Now, you should be able to install it.

[6] Open "Pokemon Go" app.

[7] Set your birth year to Jan 1 1990 or whatever proves you are over 18 years old.

[8] Press on "Returning player" or "new player". You can use Facebook, Google, or Pokemon Trainer Club account to login.

For Google login:

1. Sign in with Google.
2. Allow access to contacts.
3. Press on "Chrome" or "whatever internet browser you use" then just once or always.
4. Type in your Google account to sign in.
5. If it takes a long time to sign in, you can press on the X then repeat the steps until it loads you into the game.

[9] Allow Pokemon Go to access to your device's location/GPS.

[10] Allow Pokemon Go to take pictures and record video.

[11] Press OK on the pop-up about Privacy Policy. It is for the new Niantic Social app that allows players to chat with other players that play Niantic games. Niantic will collect your data for research or to sell it to make money. Pretty much all apps do the same thing.

[12] Your starting location is the a spoofer's hotspot in New York City, New York in the USA. If you were playing somewhere else, you must wait a 2 hour cooldown where you do not do anything for 2 hours before you can play in New York. If you want to teleport to the last area you were at, you do not need to wait the 2 hours.

[13] Open your game settings, go down to "GAME LOGS" and uncheck the circle for Save Raid and Battle Logs. It is a waste of your internal storage space because it can use up to 2 GB per log (total 3 to 4 GB). You also do not know if they collect other information too.

How to update Pgsharp?

1. Go to www.pgsharp.com and press on the "Download" button.
2. Open your "Files", "My Files", or whatever is your file manager app.
3. Go to your "Internal Storage" then "Downloads" folder.
4. Press on "pgs#.##.#.apk" then to update or install and that is all.

> Topic #9: How to Install an official Pokemon Go app and have Pgsharp at the same time?

Please READ first: The link below is for you to install the official Pokemon Go app on Samsung and non-Samsung devices like Google, One Plus, Xiaomi, Asus, Motorola, LG, Sony, and other devices with an Android OS that has Google Play Store support. This will allow you to turn on Adventure Sync to use Defit or Pokewalk app when you are not using Pgsharp.

You can only buy Poke Coins and receive discounts during big events if you have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet that is not rooted. Only Samsung devices have the "Galaxy Store" app and services integrated into the OS. You will not be able to buy Poke Coins if you install the Galaxy Store app onto your Google Pixel 2 or One Plus 9 Pro phone.

1. Download Pokemon Go (Samsung Galaxy App Version) from this link https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/niantic-inc/pokemon-go-samsung-galaxy-apps-version/.
2. Open your file manager app (example "Files" or "My Files") then go to your download folder and press on install long file name.apk.
3. Go through the usual setup, and you can use Google, Facebook, or PTC account.
4. To update the Samsung Galaxy App version, go to the APKmirror link to download and install it over the old Pokemon Go app. If you have a Samsung Galaxy device, you can update it through the Galaxy Store app.

> Topic #10: How Do I Fix a Problem?

I cannot play because the game stops at 50% loading.

This means the free servers are under heavy traffic. You must wait in their line queue system before you can connect and play with Pgsharp. There is a quick pop-up during the loading screen that tells you how many minutes or hours you must wait. People with a paid key can sometimes load into the game without waiting in the line queue.

I have a paid key but the game stops at 50% loading.

Server maintenance or the servers crashed. You can try to restart Pgsharp or try again later.

Pgsharp is very laggy or crashes a lot.

This requires you to do buy a new device with 4 GB RAM or more because Pgsharp is running Pokemon Go with visual overlays. The overlays require more processor power and ram. You might not be able to play smoothly on a device with 2 to 3 GB RAM.

If you have other problems, you can try these:

Option 1: Clear app cache only.

• Go to Device's Settings > Apps > "Pokemon GO" > Storage > Clear Cache
• Android 9 to 10, press and hold Pokemon Go > app info > Storage > Clear Cache
• Android 11 to 13, press and hold Pokemon Go > press (i) > Storage > Clear Cache

Option 2: Export/backup your profile before clearing app cache and data then import your profile.

• Go to Device's Settings > Apps > "Pokemon GO" > Storage > Clear Cache & Clear Data

Option 3: Clear app cache and data without importing your old profile. This one may fix your problem but you are going to have to redo all your feeds and favorite coords and gpx.

Option 4: Go back to the previous version (if available) and contact Pgsharp.

This means you go to www.pgsharp.com to download the new updated apk file then install it over the old one. You always have to go to their website because this is an unofficial modified app. You cannot automatically update it from the Google Play Store, since Pgsharp cannot be downloaded from there.

I am unable to login with my Facebook account.

Please try to login the original Pokemon Go. If you login successfully, unlink and relink your Facebook, or link to another Facebook.

Why do pokemon flee? Why I can't spin Pokestops?

Can Virtual Go Plus use Great and Ultra balls?

No, it uses Red Pokeballs only. Enhanced Throw does not work with this too.

I do not know because they want you to use their Virtual Go Plus that costs money. There is no guarantee it will work.

Can I play on a tablet?

Yes.

Can I play on an Amazon Fire or Fire HD tablet?

No, the tablet specs are very bad. The game may be very laggy

Can I use another device to buy Poke Coins using the official Pokemon Go app?

Yes.
