Advice for writing well under time limits?
Hi guys, I sat my first short answer question exam for uni and it was awful. I panicked and spent too much time planning my answers. Any advice on how to write 1.4k words in 2hours? but like well 🥴

Know your subject (obviously) but in bite-sized chunks. PEE (point, evidence, explanation) is essential when doing exam essays, and knowing the 'big points' of what you're talking about will then allow you to reserve your memory on how to increase your word count around them.
What I did is go through all my notes and condense them more and more with every passover (hand writing your notes also helps, muscle memory n all that). Then, you'll see the big things and be able to attribute the smaller things to them easier.
KISS (keep it simple stupid) - don't reinvent the wheel with your essay answers. They know what they're looking for, so give them all the more reason to give you points by proving you've learned what they want to have taught you.
