The Absurd

They say it is absurd to find meaning in a meaningless world

maybe they are right?

I have looked and looked as much as I could with no meaning or purpose in sight

I look back at my life through rose colored glasses sometimes I'm happy with what I find

But then I realize my tinted glasses hides the blight intertwined between the branches of joy

Maybe it is better to stay blind
