I love this! I often think of the facade that we all partake in, too. For those of us who wear our hearts on our sleeves and strive for authenticity, it can feel this way. But ultimately, we are all operating on varying levels of pretend. I think "inner monologue" would serve as an appropriate title.

I hope you find some genuine people that you enjoy being around. I dont think we are all actors/actresses in this crazy life of ours. I believe we all have different parts of ourselves that need to be expressed at different times, but i do know what you are saying. Sometimes it does get dark in my mind as well. I enjoyed this poem!
