I got stuck on a scene and I just reset the game. After the reset, I still had all the tricks that the Comte had taught and during every scene where he teaches a new trick the rehearse, explain and skip options were there already. It took me 3 days roughly to get to the place I was during my first playthrough. It took me about a day to get back to my previous point in my second playthrough.
Depending on the platform you use, there's a debug menu you can use. It lets you restart the round or map depending on the situation.
Im on switch and i saw that i had to hold "-" for like 5 seconds in the options menu but i tried and nothing pops up

Np! I've heard that a patch to get out of softlocks is being developed but I'm not sure if that's definitely happening.

Control+Shift+9 (I think) Then click restart scene or restart from map
