YouGov Finance - 500 points (£5) for each bank account linked
"YouGov is a global public opinion and data company. Explore what the world thinks, discover our solutions, and join our community to share your opinion."
YouGov Finance is a part of YouGov. How it works is that you are rewarded for linking your bank accounts with Open Banking to share your transaction data; the process works in much the same way as apps such as Money Dashboard and Snoop.
You get 500 points for each bank you link, and when access expires after 90 days, you can refresh access to gain 500 more points each time. It takes a couple of days for your points to be added to your account. You used to get rewarded 250 points but this has recently been increased to 500 points. I have added Revolt, Monzo, Starling, Tide, Wise and two high street banks. You can link multiple accounts from the same bank, but you don't get any additional points for this.
Most banks are available to connect YouGov Finance. However I checked Chase, Counting Up and Triodos, banks which are popular banks on this subreddit, but it is not currently possible to add these.
The catch is that you can only cash out to your bank account once you reach 5000 points. So, unless you have 10 bank accounts, you won't be able to cash out straight away.
To boost your points, you can:
-
Share your online service data (e.g. Steam, Netflix, Amazon Prime play and watch history) with YouGov SafeEdit: Sorry I've just noticed that the YouGov Safe browser extension has been taken down, but it still works if you already have the extension installed -
Complete surveys which typically take 10-15 minutes each and award you with 50 points each.
If you join using my referral link, I earn 200 extra points for each friend that completes 6 surveys.
