[TOMT][MUSIC VIDEO][1980s] Rock video featuring black and white clips of racing cars and a male musician/lead singer wearing blue coveralls with a yellow telecaster in a garage. I seem to remember the musician may have been from a popular band, but this video was from a solo album.

Was initially looking at Dave Stewart from Eurythmics, or David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. Maybe a "David"?

An obvious David might be David Lee Roth from Van Halen, though I can't think of a video that would apply.

My first thought, honestly, was Vince Neil from Motley Crue, since race cars seem like they'd be his brand... though again, can't find a likely video suspect.
