Why does everybody trust Dutch?
I’ve always wondered why everybody in the gang seems to think of Dutch as a god in the first place.

Dutch saved many of them (Arthur, John, Sean, Bill, Tilly, Pearson, Javier), raised many of them (Arthur, John, Tilly), and literally taught them how to view the world and society. Some of them are treated better by Dutch and the gang then they are out in the world (Mary-Beth, Abigail, Tilly, Karen, Charles, Lenny, Javier). If someone had come along, saved your life, protected you, taught you how to live, and treated you better then most of the rest of society, you would follow that person to the ends of the earth.
Plus he’s a very charismatic person. He’s got that Cult of Personality thing going for him.

Because Dutch almost saved every last on of them. He found them in the wrost situation and fed them, clothed them, taught them and etc. People like John, Arthur and Javier are good examples. Finding poor street kids and making them loyal to you.
