Damn, this poem is so simple yet it carries so much emotion and maybe even pain behind it. Romance is not always happy

imo drunken thoughts show our truest feelings in its purest form.  I love that the poem makes the image so vivid. i can picture someone drinking to ease the pain and just completely devastated by losing that special someone. Wishing that they could re-trace their steps and do it all over again.

It’s so simple but I can really feel the desperation, it captures so much.

Simple and beautiful. Words aren't captivating but lines are making amazing effects. It's showing raw and true feelings

It's so short and concise and yet it expresses a lot in such a few lines. Really love it.

I like this. I think that consistent punctuation would go a long way though. It was the first thing I noticed and took me out of your message.

Quick and succinct. I really love the repetition at the beginning too. The poem understands itself and doesn’t try to overshoot.

I don't know if the grammar and capitalization are result of your drunken state or poetic intention, but if it be the latter I do have to say I think the partial lapslock of some of the "I"s really reflect the instability of the narrator, in the sense that they are relinquishing their identity to this person so they have lost a sense of who they are. As I said before, I could be making something out of nothing, but I do feel that even if there was no intention behind it that your drunkenness made this poem that much more raw. Drunk words are sober thoughts, after all.

Something that a middle schooler would write. You didn’t even bother to get your capitalization and punctuation right. It’s not interesting in any way. It’s greeting card poetry, but not concise enough to put on a greeting card. This getting 30+ upvotes makes me furious
