We really do have something magical with the Poudre River Trail

I finally fixed my bike and rode the trail for the first time last weekend. What a hidden gem of Fort Collins!

How is it hidden lol

Many people know about the trail and have never actually been on it. There are really nice scenic spots along the trail that you won't see on any of the roads. Parts of Fort Collins that are otherwise "hidden" from your typical commuters. Yes the trail itself isn't a secret but how beautiful it is may be to some.

Definitely not a hidden gem.....

Things are hidden until found. Not everyone knows all the sights here, I'm still finding new places to explore and I grew up here

From someone who has ridden every inch of that trail from Bellvue to Greeley, it'll be freakin awesome once it's finished.

This will be awesome when it is done. I’ll be able to commute to work from Windsor without having to take any busy roads!

Amazing how the costs are only 6 digits when compared with how much roads are. Let’s build more!

lol that's because you are lucky to get 250 people on it during a typical weekday vs 250,000 plus using roads

Maybe, we’ll see how things go with gas prices. This piece of trail connecting Windsor to ft Collins let’s people living east of I-25 get into town and directly to HP and Avago, two of the biggest employers. I bet we see more commuters now that they don’t need to take an interstate overpass

Driving is faster and more convenient, I doubt the numbers will change much

Spending should match actual trips that means 5% max on bicycle infrastructure

Yay! This is the best.

I love riding this trail! Once it's all connected the only improvement I would make is to line it with fans to blow those dang tire-popping thorns off the trail 😂

Thanks for the motivation to try out the Poudre trail for the first time this evening.

Gonna be real awkward when the poudre river trail ends up next to a scenic dry riverbed
