Hope you enjoy.

Wow! Really, thank you. I started posting poems here for this kind of constructive comment. Sadly i almost receive nothing of the sort so i thought i should stop sharing. This was supposed to be my last post but now i'm thinking what the hell, one more won't hurt hahah so i guess i'll post one more. Thanks again. I'll link it here after i do.

I really like this piece because of how loop-y and consistently flowy it feels. I also really appreciate poems that tell a complete story, and I think this one fits perfectly; it perhaps even humanizes a vampire through its description of emotion. With this same central idea of emotion, I love this line:

"I call it love, none better fits."

The analogy/descriptive imagery of strings is beautiful, and it really helps to establish what a talented poet you are. For example, this line:

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look

ooh I love the line about the moon being chomped-down. The first part made me think of winston churchill a bit lol. I could be way off but I read this is as the narrator is sleeping with a prostitute for the night, or he's an alcoholic drinking again.

this is absolutely beautiful. i can nearly envision everything!
