Am I in the wrong for trying to hold my classmate accountable?
(English isn't my first language, so please keep in mind some things and some grammar is going to be embarrassingly wrong)
Our friend group doesn't get along with a classmate because of her many wrongs and actions that shes done in the past that we tried to forgive and understand her for, which we weren't able to.
this time we really couldn't stand it anymore.
its finals season and we were in the exam hall for our calculus final. she forced friend A to give her the answers during the exam which greatly affected my friends performance during the exam (which also gave her strikes from our supervisor). afterwards, I sent her a lengthy message about how you shouldn't depend on people, and that people don't exist for your own convenience. basically scolding her on what she did because we were all gonna be in the same exam hall for the last three finals and we didn't wanna be held back by her again.
anyway, she replied to my scolding with a picture of a hospital bed and then talked about how she expects us to pray for her aunt who had passed away (this happened after the exam and we had no idea), which was followed up with 4 missed calls from her. she then called friend A and began cussing her out and going on about things like "you guys have Satan's blood in you(?). you're so odd" and then later unblocked friend A to tell her she thought friend A would understand, and that she'd never understand how it feels to have "situations", and about how the three of us are 'ganging up on her'. and even talked about how she was disappointed in friend A when she added to the scolding and lectured her instead of defending her.
I'm very conflicted on if we did the right thing to lecture and advise her, or if we are in the wrong for what we did.
but I keep thinking about her past actions and hypocrisy.
then again, if you have to think about whether what you did was right or wrong, you're 90% wrong most of the time.
so, were we in the wrong? if not, why? and if we were..why??
