Help picking 5 decks for a battle box

Hello! I am pretty new to the format, but not new to magic. I would love to build a 5 deck pauper battlebox to play with my partners, as they are not very interested in Commander, and would balk at the price point of other formats (as would I for that matter). I am trying to select five decks that seem healthy for this battlebox. Because it'll be a battlebox, there is no real need to care too much about the meta as I can exclude problem decks, and tune sideboards, but I don't want to stray too far from it either, in case that one of my partners decides to build their own pauper deck!

Right now my plan is to include one deck for each archetype: Control, Tempo, Aggro, Midrange, and Combo. The only decks I'm quite certain about are Boros Synth Aggro, Izzet Faeries and Goblins for aggro, tempo and combo respectively. Let me know if these decks are good representatives for their archetypes (I can see that goblins has a midrange plan B, I am also interested in Elves but worry about it being too linear and frustrating against boardwipes). I would love to hear about which Control and Midrange deck I should run. I am leaning to Familiars for control, or maybe even grixis affinity control, but the midrange options look pretty lackluster to me, is there anything stompy / zoo that I could build? I am currently only looking at mtggoldfish to get a look of the meta and don't see anything like that.
