Unable to fix Release Date 2036 Error

After a recent update of PMS I was having the same issue many of you were with the release date for shows being listed as the year 2036, which was of course messing up the "Recently Released Episodes" category of my home screen. After searching I came across some posts on here saying this can be corrected by updating to the newest PMS version, and refreshing all metadata.

The issue is that this isnt working for me, and I have exhausted all settings that I can think to try. I updated PMS (v1.27.0.5897) which says it is the most recent version. But then after refreshing the metadata, nothing changes. Everything is still showing a date of 2036.

I have tried turning off the "Prefer local metadata" setting for the library and refreshing the metadata again, as was described by another post on this sub, but this did not work either. While in the settings I also tried changing the libraries metadata agent to the other available options and refreshing the metadata again. As well as cleaning the old metadata bundles and refreshing yet again.

I'm at a loss of what to try next other than completely reinstalling plex, but I would like to avoid that as I have never been successful in the past at backing up and restoring things like watch statuses for episodes when reinstalling.
