I’m so excited to see everyone come up! As someone who lives locally I want to give you guys some heads up!

If you guys need to shop outside of New Era and Rothbury, I’d advise you stay away from a grocery store called Montague Foods. Their prices are insanely high, they are known to sell out dated food, and the owners just don’t treat their workers well.

Then as someone who worked at Double JJ for over a year during covid, the staff can be iffy but you do find some good ones in the mix. Also be warned the GM Rita does not care about anyone or their comfort if you’re staying on property. If you complain your room has no A/C or whatnot they will not refund you and maintenance usually never gets to fixing that stuff. If the cabins are gross, I apologize. They never kept them clean when I worked there and a lot of customers over the one year have made that clear. So just be careful on the resort!
