It’s nothing new. When ISIS swept through the Middle East, people were quick to say ISLAM BAD ISLAM BAD MUSLIM TERRORIST
But when they realised that the majority of people who fought against ISIS were Muslim, it was cricket noises.
It’s all picking and choosing.
I hate this so much, my country got taken over by some extremists, then we fought a long 6 or 7 year war, it wasn't a full blown war but still, we had a (friendly) tank parked in front of our apartment complex, i was in fear, and after we defeated them, the country looked destroyed, and what do we get? We get called a dangerous and extreme place, and people probably think we were the terrorists.
