If I get an eero 2-pack or 3-pack, can I use the 2nd/3rd eero in a different house or give it to a friend/family to use?

Are there any restrictions like they all have to be used together in the same household? Will it come with enough supplies to set each up individually? (And is setting up as simple as plugging in the Ethernet cable from the cable provider?)

Yes to all

The exception is if you get the eero 6 2-pack or 3-pack (non-plus, non-pro). It has only one router and one or two "extenders" that do not have any Ethernet ports. All other currently available packs include identical units that can split up if desired AFAIK.

Thanks! Just to clarify, the second question was if there are any restrictions like having to use them all together in the same household. Is the answer to that yes too or can I use them separately?

Hi u/Belcipher

You do not have to use them all together, as others have already noted on this thread. However, your other question, does it come with enough supplies, needs answering. The 2 packs and 3 packs only come with 1 ethernet cable, so you would want to buy an additional cat 5e or cat 6 cable for the other location.
