The Hypocrisy of the Marijuana Legalization Movement.

Their argument is not one based on individual liberty and the freedom of choice, and so they are forced to base their arguments on the relative "harmlessness" of marijuana rather than on their right to make decisions for themselves. They still believe that they (as part of society at large) should have a say in how other people (like those who use other drugs) lead their personal lives, but get frustrated when the same is applied to them. Instead of fighting for their personal liberties, they fight for reclassification and regulation and taxation. The movement is analogous to one which fights for the better treatment of the slaves, rather than their emancipation. Fight for your rights as an individual.
