Looking to get an iPhone. Should I get one now or wait?

So I have Verizon and I have waited the dreadful 2 years on an Android. I am looking to upgrade to an iPhone, but I am wondering if I should get a 4S now, or wait until the next iPhone is released.

If there is one potentially coming in the fall, I have the patience to wait. I'm just curious as to if there is a new one coming out sometime soon.

A little advice would be fantastic!
