Anyone play in the Golf Channel AM Tour?

After reading the thread by mh6446 about playing in his (or her) first tournament I was inspired to maybe do the same.

I've never played a tournament before with the exception of a few best ball tournaments. But, being a very competitive person, I think I would enjoy a stroke play tournament.

Anyway...while researching tournaments in the SoCal area I stumbled across the site for the Golf Channel AM Tour and was curious if anyone here plays it.

Seems kind of pricey to me. $200 for the membership (per year) as well as entry fees for the tournaments themselves. Still, it's a pretty cool concept seeing that, even a 11 handicapper like myself, can qualify for, and potentially play in a national tournament.
