I want to get my mom a bike but she wont take it out more than a few miles a week at most for a while, is there any reason I shouldn't get this?

She's 52 and really tiny but she's really sedentary so my dad and I want to get her on a bicycle before she gets too frail. I ride a trek 1.2 ~70 miles a week with an emphasis on performance and speed and want to eventually get my dad a road bike to join me, but she won't do more than circle the neighborhood when the weather is really nice.

I know walmart bikes are crap, but should I get this for her and then figure out another bike if it breaks or becomes unreliable? Or is any bike from walmart guaranteed to be a waste of money? I love her and want her to be happy, this is exactly what she wants (with a basket in front) but I don't want to spend a lot and have it collect dust!
