What are some of your dumbest mistakes?

Earlier today, i spend at least an hour just refreshing the AH to get a good 1 hand weapon with a socket. Finally i found one and instantly bought it (for the ones interested, 860dps with socket for 500k).

Really excited now, i start a game and put the weapon into my inventory to try it out. 700 damage lost, but that is fine. But i still didn't have my star amethyst for 300 life on hit. I was just 80k short (and didn't want to use it earlier, since act 1 is a breeze).

So there I was just happily farming act 1 to make some quick gold.
after some time my inventory is full, of course. so i go to a vendor and sell all of my under level 60 stuff.
Next i go to the blacksmith to salvage some items.

And this is where the fun begins.

Since i had like 7 ilvl61+ stuff, i just quickly click on all, just to notice, that i salvaged my new weapon.

Welp, there went my gold... at least i will almost have my star amethyst now.

Gonna farm tomorrow or so again (around 300k in 1,5h )
