Hey, I need a help with gaming audio. [PC]

My audio isn't working properly. Let me elaborate.

Youtube videos will work over surround sound, as well will everything else.

BUT, my video games won't. I have no idea why.

I have unplugged my audio jacks (headset), which is where the audio for the game was coming from, and the audio now doesn't play. I tried to redirect the audio to having surround sound default, but for some reason it will still not work. Can I get some help please?
