I'm still mad at my friend's late ex

I have a good friend who had an abusive partner. Her partner died a couple years ago, but now and then something comes up and she'll mention her partner, and I am still just SO DAMN MAD at this person. I want to be able to go back in time and tell her partner that my friend is AWESOME and deserved MUCH MUCH BETTER.
