What differences are there between Hispanics living in Texas, and Hispanics living in California?

A couple of reasons I ask . TX is red, CA is blue. TX = low cost of living, CA = high.

So, are hispanics in TX more conservative... any cultural generalizations worth making.

Another question I have is - what differences are there between east and west mexico. I haven't been to Texas , or Mexico.
