Someone did a digital painting of me for r/sketchdaily, which inspired me to try digital painting again. I'm looking for a critique, I'm relatively new to digital art.

Color Blocking

Inspired from this photo

I haven't done any digital painting in a couple years at least, but I've been perfecting my fine art skills in the meantime. I did this one in about an hour. the face isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it.

I used Painter, I've never really tried painting in photoshop, is it better? I really love the bristle brush stuff in Illustrator though. Comments, critiques, suggestions, pro tips?
