Where a Little Inspiration Can Get You

Hello r/leagueoflegends!

I am from the United States but play mainly on the Europe West server. A German friend of mine from another gaming community introduced me to League so I figured it was only right to play on the server with him. I deal with my 150-200 ping okay and love to be competitive.

I have just accomplished a personal goal of mine that I have had for a long time; a perfect ranked match history. Perfect being 10 wins, not 10 wins without deaths or something like that.

About a week ago, there was a post on this same reddit of someone else accomplishing this same feat and as soon as I saw it, I decided now was the time to really try hard to reach this goal. The very same day that I saw his post, I won 9 in a row. I was extremely close to a 10th where our Darius ragequit 5 minutes into the game after dying to Warwick once. This made me sad. ):

My lowest elo ever was 812. ): I reached 1236 after my 9 game win streak, my first time above 1200 in a few months. I live in elo hell, and after this win streak I am currently standing at 1119 elo. I had a hell of a time after my 9 game winning streak, mostly due to just bad plays from myself and getting on tilt.

My long term goal is to reach 2000 elo on Europe West. I hope to one day raise up my North American account and compete on an North American team(oh, don't we all?). Hopefully after a lot of Europe West experience in 2k elo I will be able to get the attention of an up and coming North American team that wants a player like me. :D

I'm not really sure my reason for making this post, but I am just glad to have reach this personal accomplishment and figured I should give some background on the situation to make the read more interesting. I explained my long term future goal for some reason, idk. Just getting my name out there I guess. I doubt anyone really cares, but I just like to share my story.

I hope the win streak serves as an inspiration to others that when you try hard, and I mean REALLY try hard and are able to communicate with the "elo hell" trolls that make you rage, you can still win games.
