Using a Single Pro Tools Copy on Multiple Computers?

Okay, so here's the deal.

My technical director is going to upgrade to Pro Tools 10 shortly, as we just got the Venue 3 upgrade for our SC48 and want the 32 channel I/O over firewire. I'm kind of young (16...) and don't have the money for a copy for myself, so would it be possible for me to install a copy of his purchased copy on my computer without having issues with authorization? I don't plan on using any plugins, so do I still need an iLok? This would be temporary until I save up enough money to get a copy with the student discount.

I'm not using it to get myself a free copy... I'm not making any money off of it and just want some experience with it and a head start. I can't wait to get my own copy, so I'd love to be able to do this. It's a great program and I absolutely plan on buying my own copy, but I don't know how long thats going to be...
