Problem installing

I just purchased the Valve Complete Pack, and after entering my credit card info, I got to the page where it says "Install your new game." Upon clicking this, a separate window opened with the text "Scanning for Steam licenses updates..."

I let it process, but its been nearly an hour, and still nothing. Any clues whats going on?
