How is this styled?

Hey, I am in the military and am always looking for a haircut that keeps my bosses happy and keeps me looking non-militaristic when I'm not at work. After browsing through the links on a hair style post the image linked came up as the best of both worlds. Can someone tell me how to style this or show me a video? The town I'm currently posted to has very limited stylist talent. I'm sure I can manage to get one of them to get the cut right, but I guarentee they won't style it right.
