If you're expecting to play Diablo 3 when you buy it, think again.

I was very hyped for Diablo 3, like many others, but I was a bit reluctant to buying the game since I heard from my friends of "some" launch problems. So instead I bought it digitally four days ago and sat down with my brother to enjoy my game.

But as we completed Act 1 I got a pop-up window asking me if I would like to upgrade my starter account (i.e buying the game, which I have done). Angry and confused about why I can't play more than a demo of the game I bought i sent a Ticket to the Blizzard Support optimistically expecting to get help.

Instead of solving the problem and providing a functioning game, their policy is apparently to give their customers a polite "fuck off".

By digging in a Diablo 3 forum thread I found a link to an official note saying you have to wait up to 72 hours to play your game. Worth mentioning is that I have now waited well over 72 hours and I still can't play.

TL;DR Four days ago I bought Diablo 3, and I still can't play the full game
