Being cheated on killed my sex drive.

About two years ago now, my ex finished with me. I won't go into details, but suffice it to say he cheated on me for the best part of a year with someone I had previously considered a friend.

Before that relationship I was a virgin, and I'll happily admit; mildly obsessed with sex.

My first experience of sex however, was not good. He had some issues in that department and I think it killed a lot of the passion between us, although I never intended it to.

When he ended it I was devastated. I basically didn't have a sex drive for the best part of a year afterwards, and didn't feel ready to have sex again until 10 months after.

When I did it was with two FWB's. One was inexperienced and awkward, the other was far more experienced than me and perhaps he could have helped me, but I didn't take that opportunity. I felt uncomfortable with both of them; I still had a lot of intimacy issues and both ended pretty quickly.

Now I have a wonderful new boyfriend, but I feel as though I don't satisfy him. My sex drive has plummeted drastically, and although I am no longer stuffed with teenage hormones, I am beginning to wonder if my ex actually did a lot more damage than I realised.

About a year after it happened I forgave them both (my ex and the 'friend' he cheated on me with), and I felt a sense of closure; I thought that was the end of it.

It wasn't. I still get very easily upset whenever my new boyfriend is even slightly insensitive/inconsiderate (which is completely uncharacteristic of me, I used to have an incredibly thick skin).

I know attitude is really important and despite having incredible sex when we do, I virtually never initiate it. I think my boyfriend is the most attractive guy in the world, and I'm a million times more attracted to him than I ever was to my ex, but despite trying to tell myself to get over it, I just can't seem to muster the energy and enthusiasm I used to.

I'm currently trying to exercise more, lose weight, eat more healthily etc. which I understand improves sex drive, but I think this might be more of a psychological issue.

I can sense my boyfriend getting impatient with me, and I can't stand the thought of losing him. I know he doesn't mean to, but sometimes he really upsets me, and often I don't even know why-the other day he made a joke about me 'not having the balls' to suck him off, and I just went to pieces.

This sucks. Advice please?
