It wasn't wind
I was sleeping in bed one night, and the my room is at the end of the hallway. Next to my room is the doorway to the attic, and the door was really heavy. The attic door was completely open.
My house isn't extremely old, maybe about sixty years. But whatever happened before my family bought the house, the windows were unable to open and haven't been for at least thirteen years.
It was the night of a thunderstorm and it was raining pretty hard. I am a naturally paranoid person, so tonight i was extremely creeped out anyway. My dad was sleeping in my room with me (I was about 8), my mom was in the room next to mine and the door was closed. In fact, all the doors were closed on the bedroom level and the door on the attic can't open. The doors on the bottom floor were closed and the windows still don't open. So it couldn't have have been the wind.
I was unable to go bed, and the rest of my family was trying to sleep. I was staring at the attic door. It was wide open. All of the sudden, the door slammed shut so quick that it was over in a blink of the eye. The entire time I was staring at the door. Nothing pushed it, I felt no wind, not even a light breeze. It was the loudest slam I have ever heard, and i screamed so loud I heard a dog barking distantly outside. I was scared out of my mind, and my parents told me it was the wind.
It wasn't the wind.
