Pigeon steppers and their tunes.

Hey r/neworleans.

I just finished marathoning 2 seasons of Treme. I love the show, and I love the New Orleans brand of funk, jazz, soul- you name it, if it's music made in Louisiana, it's my shit.

I was wondering if people could recommend me some ballsy, brass/funk.soul bands to listen to to help my crowds up here in Toronto (I DJ) get a little pigeon in their step. Cheers.

I can't wait to have the money to take a visit.
