I'm giving up a job making 6 figures a year to go back to school and marry the girl I love. Whats the boldest decision you've ever had to make Reddit?
I love my job, and I love the work I do. The only problem is I'm gone for around four months at a time, with only 2 or 3 days off when I do get to come home. Such is life in the oilfield. For me, it's a fairly easy decision. I have only one true source of happiness, and I'm never around to enjoy it. Money isn't everything in life, you'll figure that out soon enough when it keeps you away from true love. I honestly believe I can flip burgers at MickeyD's every day for the rest of my life and fall asleep happy because I'm sleeping next to the one I love.
