I tried once, and failed
I love to help people. I have awards on twitter and a NYTimes article to prove how much I love helping people... but I can't seem to get on course to do what I originally wanted to do... which was nursing. I started a program at a local community college back in 03', but was completely flattened by anatomy and physiology's memory requirements (think they require 512mb and I have like, 256mb) completely fucked me over.
Now, I'm 27. I've been diagnosed as bipolar and a.d.d. (they're comorbid) and I've lost my dream job because of a disorder called Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have the opportunity to try nursing school again. Should I? I failed so badly the first time. I'm a 100% hands on learning type person and have major issues when it comes to memorizing things from a book (thanks, Lyrica!).
I want to do something to help. I don't care if I get shat, puked, bled on. I don't care if I don't get the recognition nurses deserve from their doctor coworkers. I want to BE something and HELP people. What say you?
