DAE Think it's weird when people talk to the dead like they're alive in present tense?
Don't get me wrong, I understand people have emotions tied to the person they're paying respect to, but it's just stupid when someone says something like, "You were my best friend, I love you, and I will always love you." When I talk/refer to them, I always say, "I loved her, and she'll be missed," but never used "You."
