How do I get student loans for college when my parents are unwilling to co-sign

Due to relationship issues between my parents and some money issues my father is in (crap ton of debt) both of them are unwilling to co-sign student loans with me. I haven't asked other family members yet because I feel like its pretty much asking for money and I'm not the type of person to do that. What are my options? Where can I get private loans without a co-signer. I guess I should say I don't have any credit history, i'm 19, I do have a job which is full time during the summer and part time during the school year. Scholarships won't make up a 10k difference I need for this year, I've applied for some but haven't received any.
