How to find somewhere to get into karting

I live in Chattanooga, TN, and as far as I can tell there aren't any serious karting venues around here. I know there are a few dinky places that have go-karts, like at amusement parks and that sort of thing, but I can't seem to find anything about leagues. I would even be willing to drive a few hours to Atlanta, Nashville or Knoxville if I needed to, but I can't find anything there either. Do any of you have any tips for finding somewhere to get involved?

Edit: I should have clarified that there are some tracks around here, but they seem to all be dirt ovals. The dirt doesn't bother me so much, but I would like to perhaps venture into maneuvers other than left turns.
