Are there any Redditors out there that have recently completed a police academy?

I am attending a basic police academy in Northeast Ohio that starts in July and could use some pointers!

Also should I get a CCW so that it will be easier to carry back and forth to the academy?

Any tips on what I should be doing to prepare for the academy?

Thanks in advance!
