Reddit, help me convince my parents to let me buy a motorcycle.

Im 17 and enlisted into the United States Airforce. Im currently finishing highschool (Ill graduate 6 months earlier than my class) and am working 25+ hours a week. I like to think of myself as a little bit more mature and responsible than most people my age, as Ive been working in a family restaurant for a few years, have no major disciplinary issues or run ins with the law.

My mother is strongly against the idea and doesnt even like to speak about the subject. Ive already showed her how Ill pay for the course, the bike and the insurance on it, along with all my own equipment and everything yet she keeps being very stubborn and refusing to even hear what I have to say.

I really kind of hit a wall on points to win her over to my cause. Any advice?

Edit: The bike. Not too powerful for a first bike. http://www.scooterdepot.us/250cc-street-legal-motor-bikes-sport-motorcycles-p-744.html
