I posted before about what to play next and figured I should come back.

I posted this last week and thought I'd come back and make some recommendations of my own.

I took the suggestion of not playing another VN straight away and played To the Moon first. The Chrono Trigger-esque visuals were an odd fit but the story stands up very well (I cried several times) and I would highly advocate playing it. It is nothing at all like KS, which I think was a good thing.

I played True Remembrance second and while the art could do with more polish I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Recommended to anyone who liked stories in the VN medium. Again, the content is in no way similar to KS.

Lastly I played through Crescendo today. The content is very similar to KS: highschool relationships, hidden emotions, helping people through things etc. The writing (possibly just the translation) is not incredible but it does the job. There are varied paths of which I've only played one so far. It's not another KS but I liked it for what it is.

I need to pick something else now. I started Narcissu but I just couldn't face it.
