To All: Israel
This thread is dominated by a single question: "Does the state of Israel have a right to exist?"
The claim itself can be split into two main categories; the secular and the religious. The latter of these should be fucking obvious to anyone who frequents a forum named r/DebateReligion. The irreligious claim owes itself to a decomposing empire. In 1945, Britain gifted the land to the Jews as it was giving up its colonies. It gave this land, that it owned, to Jewish populations.
I like to think I left out the personal shite above, so here is where I put my ever valued opinion; I believe that Israel should not exist and we should lambast those who do.
The irreligious claim seems valid until you realise that Britain was being force to give up all of its colonies due to the empirical causes of the Second World War. It donated all of the lands back to the locals, all except for Israel. This is a nation born out of guilt. It is as if to say "We're sorry about the Holocaust, we really are. Let us make it up to you by giving you someone else's land." The flaws there should be out-fucking-standingly clear.
The religious claims have their own flaws, in my eyes, because it will inevitably breed conflict, pain and brutality. And that is say nothing of the flaws of Judaism.
So, what do you guys think?
Namer98, I am expecting a well-written and long winded comment. I say this because this topic owes itself to a conversation we had on the matter about 3 weeks ago.
