I said this before the NH vs SH test series...
'Think my thoughts are for Ireland to be embarrassed by NZ, Wales to come out with a series win and England to go down 2-1 for the series. Personally I'd love to see both Wales and England come out with series wins, but I can only see Wales coming away with the goods.'
I wasn't far wrong what with Wales coming so close each damn time to grabbing the win, and for England to come out 2-0 and a draw, which I am still happy about. But I really didn't want to be right about Ireland and that was confirmed today.
It was a great series for all the teams involved for the best part. England showed they were more than capable of matching the physicality of South Africa. Ireland, ignoring today, nearly took the all important NZ scalp. Wales went agonisingly close each time and Scotland grabbed some good wins.
Promising signs for NH.
