Could you please recommend websites on techniques to correct behaviour without using punishment?

I would like to persuade a friend of mine that there are much better ways to correct behaviour and that spanking is as effective as many of the techniques we have learned in psychology. I have a few scientific studies, but I would like to find some quality websites that those without a psychological education can easily understand.
