Crohn's flare and mood swings

My last couple flare ups have included crazy mood swings and personality changes. Irritability and aggression I understand and control well, but this is completely different. I will fluctuate from abnormally good mood to completely despondent in minutes and without cause. The feeling of bouncing back and forth throughout the course of the day is unsettling. Any thoughts or similar experiences?
