Reddit, How do you relieve stress?

Lately I have been seriously stressed with a move that will separate me and my dad. He is the closest person I know and have always lived with him. He just got married to a high school sweetheart adn they will settle down in New York and I am going to move in with a friend 2 miles away from our current town in California. I am only 18 and was really looking forward to this but now that the time is nearing to where we split ways I am having second thoughts. I have everybody's support out here but I don't know that I will be able to handle this at such a young age. Would you have any helpful advice for a teenager?
